Summary: "This book is a resource for those who teach pupils with social and communication difficulties. I have used this general term to include pupils with a variety of disabilities and difficulties as well as those without specific difficulties but who may need some extra help, for example with developing confidence and self-esteem. Furthermore, although the programme is designed to help children with particular needs, it will benefit all children. [This book] may be used with children from 8 years old and upwards, and is suitable for secondary schools." - INTRODUCTION

This is a really good resource but I didn't use it because it is pitched higher than the needs of the children I had intended it to be use with. The Socially Speaking resource was more appropriate.
