We here at ASD Comms absolutely love this book. Proven to be yet another useful book, full of strategies that the kids can achieve.

Focus is on helping children to understand and develop support strategies. They need to have the ability to comprehend abstract concepts. Dawn Huebner gives lots of strategies to help children understand, and a variety of ways to address challenges. The book is written for children who do not have an intellectual disability - but many of the strategies could be applied more widely. I like the emphasis on monitoring your own progress.
