I have found this bok so useful I am going to purchase my own copy. It is expensive but an incredibly useful resource that I wish I had seen years ago!

A great book that aims to differentiate sensory issues from learned behaviours. Many therapists are happy that someone is shining a light on this very complex area. Sensory and behaviour tend to be interwoven and can be difficult to pull apart. This book really helps with this task.

This book is a good resource to explain sensory issues and how they relate to challenging behaviours. HOWEVER, some of the interventions suggested in this book, including use of isolation and dangerous methods of restraint, are completely unethical and could result in physical and mental harm. Please approach with caution.
