Gus, the asparagus is a lovely book that takes a light-hearted approach to Asperger's Syndrome. I really appreciated that it didn't make ASD out to be a big deal and has been a good book to open up to the disclosure discussion with my seven year old. "You're an asparagus, but that's okay, because just like the vegetables in the book, we're all different."
