Judgments of social appropriateness by children and adolescents with autism

Half contained verbalisations and half did not. Both groups correctly identified inappropriate behaviours most of the time and correct behaviours almost all of the time. However, the nonautism group detected inappropriate behaviours significantly more often than the autism group, for verbal but not nonverbal scenes.
