The books can be used to console someone after a bereavement but it is often better to prepare people before they are bereaved. The term 'mental handicap' is still used by some individuals and groups. In this series we talk about people with a learning disability. This is in accordance with current practice by the United Kingdom [England} Department of Health and reflects the policy of the British institute of Learning Disabilities. [AJ].
