This book outlines the history of IHC. It focuses on the determination and advocacy of parents of children with disabilities. Their perserverance and persistance is responsible for founding this organisation. This book provides an important background picture of how we should now consider where to from here and who will carry on with the critical attributes of vision, energy and direction.

An interesting book. Great background on where IHC came from and the progress of support/services to date.

This book is both eye opening at the difficulty parents of an intellectually disabled child faced and inspiring as they showed strength and tenacity.
