"Money Matters NZ educational resources have been developed to support students learning the challenging and abstract concepts of money. Developed by a teacher with experience working with children and adults with supported learning needs. The value of money is abstract. With no visual representation or relationship between each coin and note students are required to memoriae, to learn the value of, and relationship between each coin and note. Value Visuals aims to support learning by providing a concrete visual. The size of a tile represents the coin/note value in comparison to others. Value Visuals are available in 2 sets, Set 1 includes 10c, 20c, 50c and $1. Set 2 includes $1, $2, $5 and $10. Each set includes activity sheets and two games that can be used to practice skills and assess learning.
