"Punky is an original animated TV series which tells stories from the everyday life of Punky, a little girl, who has Down Syndrome. Punky lives in the moment. If something isn't right, if someone has a problem, Punky will set out to fix it. To Punky, the solution is always simple." - DVD CASE

My older two (10 and 7) really liked it. They thought it was funny (in a good way). They saw similarities between Punky and their younger brother age 4 who has down syndrome. Although they were probably more fascinated by Punky's parents being separated than they were about her having down syndrome. So I guess in a sense the programme strikes a great balance - it's interesting because it's a real family with real issues, and they don't over play Punky having down syndrome.

Enjoyed Punky series very much, both me and the kids. Would recommend to other parents who have children with other disabilities. Quirky colours and characters, was funny for both me and the children.
