This is predominantly a book written for primary school aged children about a child, Tom, who tells them about what having autism is like for him. As well as highlighting his challenges, Tom tells the reader how they can help him. The explanations are straightforward and supported by lovely illustrations. The book is pretty comprehensive and also includes a section for adults with practical solutions, explanations of terminology and a recommended resources section.

Another very good book to read with a sibling of someone with ASD. Good language.

A great little book. I am adapting some of the ideas for an adult client.
