Summary: "The rules of physical contact can be tricky to grasp, especially for children with special needs who are at a heightened risk of abuse. This delightfully illustrated and friendly picture book simply and clearly explains how to tell the difference between acceptable and inappropriate touch, thereby helping keep the child with special needs safe. With five stories that cover different types of touch, from accidental to friendly to hurtful, this book will help children understand when and where it is okay to touch other people, when and where other people can touch them, why self-touching sometimes needs to be private, and, importantly, what to do if touch feels inappropriate. The book also contains a sixth story that deals with the issues surrounding the use of cameras and recording devices." - BOOK JACKETReview: Deals with the sensitive and always in demand topic of acceptable and unacceptable touch. While written for children this is a resource containing strategies that are good for people of all ages to understand and use to keep themselves and others safe. The delightful illustrations complement the text very well. This is a great resource for both parents and professionals.

This book was most useful. It makes my job less complicated on having to explain the boundaries on touch. Thank you IHC for the great book.

We thought the book was great - good examples and our 5 year old son understood most of it and asked us to read it lots of times.

Useful resource to reinforce the message we continue to "plug"

Didn't think the pictures would initially be clear enough for my son to get the message. But no trouble at all - he cottoned on and we have found it a great simple book.

This was a new topic to discuss with my 9 & 11 year olds. This book dealt with the subject in a simple easy to understand way and they were able to follow it easily. Used it several times and refer to it when talking about touch. Excellent resource
