This is a useful resource for anyone whose child worries, even just a little bit. The structured approach and relateable language made it very easy to work through the book and the activities kept my daughter engaged in the topic.

Focus is on helping children to understand and develop support strategies. They need to have the ability to comprehend abstract concepts. Dawn Huebner gives lots of strategies to help children understand, and a variety of ways to address challenges. The book is written for children who do not have an intellectual disability - but many of the strategies could be applied more widely. I like the emphasis on monitoring your own progress.
