"Melissa Trautman has an amazing understanding of students on the autism spectrum and the anxiety even the smallest change can cause them. Written for the student [this book] is an interactive workbook that is full of practical activities designed to demystify the transition process, making it more predictable, manageable and less anxiety provoking. A good resource that is photocopiable for individualised use. It is American so some items may need adapting. It would be of most use for use at intermediate and secondary school. Would be useful for ASD students and their parents to set in place before a move to a new school or a teacher expecting an ASD child to join their classroom.
