A wonderful resource book. Covers all aspects of care in a clear concise format. Although the book relates to the English health care systems it is basically the same as here. It is a book you could refer to on a regular basis & hopefully get help to deal with issues of emptional & behavioural issues. It is a hands-on book.

I got a lot of information out of both books - Dementia a NZ Guide and Downs syndrome & Dementia. Thank goodness we have an awesome library at our finger tips!

A great read and have a much better understanding on the complexities of people with dementia. The book reminded me as a caregiver we are already documenting any changes in a person's behaviour/mannerisms so with dementia or not we are supporting people to live happy and healthy.
