"A complete groupwork resource offering an hierarchical approach to teaching social and relationship skills to teenagers. Designed specifically for teenagers, this practical workbook provides ready-made material for running social and relationship skills groups with older children and young adults." - BOOK JACKET
Once again we have a valuable resource from the Speechmark/Alex Kelly combination, this one focusing on teenagers and social and emotional communication skills.
The contents page lists “me”, body language, friends, assertiveness and talking as the main categories for discussion. Within each of these there are various topics which are investigated through different activities.
As usual the book is full of simple explanatory images, practical advice and tips for achieving a successful outcome and there is also a supporting DVD.

This is a great book for activities for students with disabilities. The activities can be adapted for use with mainstream teens and adults with disabilities.
