"This booklet is designed to give people with learning difficulties information and pictures to help them remember what they need to do to keep themselves clean and fresh." - INTRODUCTION
As it says in the introduction “"This booklet is designed to give people with learning difficulties information and pictures to help them remember what they need to do to keep themselves clean and fresh."
There are four sections which look at different areas of the body, head, body, hands and feet and other areas. The “other areas” section is about clothes and health. Teh sections are all colour coded making it easy to flip to the right part of the book.
Illustrated throughout it is intended to be used either in partnership with a support worker or individually. Each section explains the why and how of that particular activity and discusses any related problems. The authors conclude with a very brief dictionary of more difficult words such as acne.
