"Martha Kennedy Hartnett is the mother of a child with Asperger's Syndrome (AS) who made the courageous choice to homeschool. Emerging from her personal experience, Choosing Home takes you into the homes of Asperger families as they journey from survival of the playground bully to making it work at home. Hartnett's touching and insightful narrative addresses many pertinent questions raised by questions: Will I be limiting my child's emotional and social development? How will I know if my teaching is good enough? What if I can't cope? This book offers hope and encouragement to all parents interested in homeschooling." - BOOK JACKET.

A very readable book- not too heavy or too long (108 pages) This dwells more on the experience of deciding to homeschool. It touches on different approaches to homeschooling. This isn't a "how-to" but a look at how families approached their own struggles with ordinary school. I've found this book helpful as I consider our own dilemna with primary school struggles.

Very simple and clear. Easy for my son to understand and enabled him to know what he waited to ask questions about. Excellent!
