Fabulous resource.

The DVD that comes with the guide is really good and my son loved it because he could understand it well. It doesn't have complicated situations and sentences are very short and simple to understand.

DVD useful. Flash/sequence cards also good.

DVD was great. Worked very well in conjunction with the step by step cards of Thomas going through toileting Very detailed and to the point. helped my daughter understand the whole toileting and gave me and my husband a better understanding of how a child sees things and their point of view. Thank you.

Probably more suitable for children 4yrs and up.

DVD and cue cards are amazing and now much loved by both my young children. "Tom's toilet triumph got watched over and over and triggered a first poo on the toilet. Yay!

Great DVD for autistic kids.

Very helpful

Excellent resource that I will definitely be borrowing again. The DVD in particular was very useful in helping my son understand what he was expected to do in the toilet. We've put toileting on hold 'til after Xmas but will look to use this resource again to support our toileting efforts.

This was a well organized resource. Very visual and very clear. The animation may not suit all but I like the flow of this story and how the whole package complemented each other. I will be recommending this resource to 2 families.

Little boy seems to be going to toilet much better since watching DVD. Wish I had had this resource 4 years ago - would have saved a lot of grief!

Children loved watching the DVD and started wanting to copy straight away

Easy to read. Clear simple approach to introducing a child to using the toilet. Also, suggestions for when you get stuck.

This is an excellent resource that I have recommended to many families with varying disabilities - who have fed back its ease of use & its age-appropriateness to their children. As well parents have enjoyed its clear graphic showing of what to do in the toilet.

As an enormous milestone to work through it would be helpful to have the folder for a few months as different issues may evolve

The cards were good

Patron comment on

DVD helpful as well as picture cards. The guide for parents was really good - plenty for me to take on board i.e. step for reaching toilet seat, rewards for good toileting. I think I have a long road ahead but this has helped get us started.

My 17 year old (not toilet trained) son was very interested in the flash cards. Watched the DVD but kept running away. Would have liked to have borrowed it for longer than 30 days to get him used to watching the DVD. 1/2 hourly recommended checks of whether wet or not unrealistic. Unable to tell once wet, how often he was wet or dry. DVD is great for the kids that like this medium. Our DHB is going to purchase this as a resource for parents (DVD, etc) locally. Thanks

This is great! DVD is excellent and visual cue cards great.

This was for a high needs child but I was very pleased to get tips to use anyway.

I think this is a great resoure. It is very reassuring. It has simple commonsense ideas and a positive approach to potential setbacks. And it could remove a parent's anxiety in situations where toilet training is proving more challenging. Great visual aids too.
