680 ## - PUBLIC GENERAL NOTE

  • Explanatory text: ADHD (mate mauri rere) is a neurological condition. Studies of brain scans show that people with ADHD seem to have brain circuits that are wired a little differently from other people's, which makes messages harder to understand. The physical and chemical differences in the brains of those with ADHD affects the executive functioning of the brain, which is like the CEO of a company. This means it makes it harder to concentrate and to regulate (be in charge of) your behaviour.
