Informal social networks of people with profound intellectual and multiple disabilities : relationship with age, communicative abilities and current living arrangements - Journal of Applied Research in Intellectual Disabilities 28 (2) 2015: 159-164 .

Observes that people with profound intellectual and multiple disabilities (PIMD) have limited informal social contacts and that research to determine the factors which can positively influence establishing sound informal social contacts is required. With this in mind used a regression analysis of 200 people with PMID to analyse how age, communication abilities and current living arrangements were related to the number and frequency of their contact. Discusses the findings.
