Evaluation of hearing in children with autism by using TEOAE and ABR - 2007 - Autism 11 (1) 2007: 73-79 .

Notes that assessment of auditory abilities is important in the diagnosis and treatment of children with autism. Aims to evaluate hearing objectively by using transient evoked otoacoustic emission (TEOAE) and auditory brainstem response (ABR). Describes a study where this was done with 30 children with autism and 15 typically developing children. Concludes that hearing loss may be more common in the former group than in the latter one.
