IHC Library Services
IHC and Carers NZ have launched wecare.kiwi to help New Zealanders of any age living alone or caring for others with social connection and practical help.
There are thousands of volunteers nationwide that have been vetted by IHC and are now available to New Zealanders who are alone or caring for others.
To request volunteer support, phone 0800 777 797, email firstname.lastname@example.org, or visit the wecare.kiwi website below.
The Library Team are working on gathering e-resources to help people with an intellectual disability and the families that support them during this time.
To start - Here are some ebooks on Relaxation Calm and Sleep
We're keen to hear the type of information you want. You can get in touch with us via email (email@example.com). If you phone (0800 442 442) please leave a message and we'll get back to you as soon we can.
Until the end of the lockdown you won't be able to borrow or return any items from the book and DVD collection. However we'll still be able to answer your questions and we'll point you to appropriate ebooks, websites and online videos to help you.
If you have items on loan all loan periods have been extended. There's no need to return any items to us at the moment. If you did courier something back - that's ok - we'll return it to the collection when we get back into the library.
Thanks for your understanding. - Keep in touch with us - we'd love to hear from you.
